Sleep is a luxury

Yesterday's class was a killer! It finished at 1010pm, i got home at about 1045pm. Was in bed nearly 1am. I need sleep! It's crazy waking up at 630am every darn morning. Sometimes i don't even get to sleep in during the weekends as i have to wake up early to go for project meetings! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, i just gotta deal with it! Dagnamit!

I finally booked a hotel for my wedding. YAY! At Meritus Madarin, we got a good deal, it has a beautiful BIG hall.. real nice! It's gonna be a real small intimate wedding dinner about 150 ppl max. Feeling rather excited =) Now i'm left with the 101 more things to do before the wedding.. goodie *lol* I have class tomorrow *wails so damn loudly* I'm sure it'd end at 10 plus again.. i'm feeling so damn stressed. I've got 6 small assignments for this module and one huge one for another module and i know there's gonna be another assignment or 2 for the next module all due by end of May. By hook or by crook, i have to finish every assignment by the 26th of May. I'm flying off on the 27th of May, going to Canberra to see my babe =) A much needed holiday i might add. Can't wait...

I love my job but the pay SUX! *shrugs* Such is life in S'pore. Well.... enough of whinging for now. I need sleep.. BADLY!!!!!!

Cousin's Wedding Dinner

My cousin who married her bf in the states came back to Singapore for a short holiday. One of my aunts threw her a small wedding buffet dinner at Plaza Park Royal Hotel tonight. It was really good seeing her again after all these years. Although we weren't that close, i still missed her. I'm glad she's happy =) Anyways, it was good seeing my aunts and uncles after such a long time. My bro ate so much *lol* I thought he might explode.. when we got home he was lying in bed looking really uncomfortable *lol* Serves him right for eating too much and calling me a 'fatty'. HMPPHHH!!! Food was quite good, nice spread =) Everyone kept asking about my upcoming wedding. Hehehe, i'm so excited ;) My cousin's husband looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin!!!! I was so darn tempted to tell him that *l* Anyways, i'm beat.. gonna hit the sheets now. Really tired! Not enough sleep the past few days! It's gonna be a long roller coaster ride and i better hold on tight. Aint gonna be easy juggling work, study and planning for the wedding all at the same time *l* Oh Lord, give me your strength!!!!!

Sighs... gotta work tomorrow.. teachers are not appreciated in S'pore! Sux! I want to talk to my union!!!!! Hahaha don't think i have one! Ahh well.. i hope and pray that the weekend will arrive SOON!!!! Then again, weekends are not days of rest for me.. gotta start another assigment.. *rolls eyes* It's neverending!!!!!!! It's a vicious cycle! It's good that i'm kept busy.. if i have more time on my hands, i'd be missing T and i'd start going nutty again *lol*

Planning

I'm getting married end of the year. Well, it's about time as T and i have been together for just over 8 years now. It's finally happening and i can't believe it. It's crazy preparing for the wedding. As it is i'm swamped with work and studying, my mom takes care of the planning. Thank God for her! She's been a really great wedding planner. hehehe she should do it full time.

So many things i need to do:

- Book the church (pending)
- Buy wedding bands
- Buy a wedding and evening gown
- Find a good make-up artist
- Find a good photographer
- Book the hotel (pending)
- Buy the shoes, wedding bouquet etc
- Print wedding invites etc..
and the list goes on....

After the wedding, i'd be moving to Canberra to stay for 2 - 3 years. Don't know when i'd be back. I know for sure that i'd miss my family ALOT! My dogs.. my friends.. *wails loudly* Well, it's about time i grow up and start a family of my own, i have to learn to fend for myself. It's gonna be tough but yea.. i love a challenge ;) It should be exciting. Marriage life is going to be good =) Life is Australia is gonna be good.. Hopefully, i'd get a good job, a nice house, learn how to drive (God forbid) hahahahah, get a nice girly car, a pet.. the works!

Life will be good, i know for sure no matter where i'd be.. God will be there for me to lead me through the good and the bad =)
